Associate Professor Andrew Brown

Andrew Brown is a Professor of Medieval History at Massey University, New Zealand, where he has been for the last ten years, and prior to this he worked at Edinburgh University in the UK. Andrew works on late medieval European history, specifically urban religion, ceremony and recreation in the Low Countries. His most recent book is the collaborative study, co-edited with Jan Dumolyn, on Medieval Bruges c.850–1550 (CUP, 2018).
Andrew Brown was elected as Associate Secretary-Treasurer in 2019.
